Leaning against your grandmother, who was knitting a sweater next to the warm stove, and holding her feet covered with thick blankets because of her fear of cold, you listened to her nagging about previous stories. With the aroma of cooking turkey, potatoes, and vegetables filling the air, mom and dad called you and your brothers and sisters to hand a pair of bedroom house slippers to your uncles and aunts who had just arrived at the door.

Homitem was created in 2014 in a small town in China. Our founder, who was born into a farming family during his childhood, witnessed his parents working hard in the fields from 5 AM to late at night, their bodies covered in wrinkles and rough skin, especially their swollen feet from walking over 10 miles daily.

After 5 years of experimentation, we successfully designed slippers with the goal of comforting extremely tired feet by using mattress memory foam, gel insoles, and anti-shock cushioning. We named our slippers "Homitem," a combination of "Home" and "Item," reflecting our gratitude and what we represent.

Upon graduating from college, our founder used his first-ever salary to buy two pairs of slippers as gifts for his parents, seeing the happiness on their faces. This inspired him to create a company with the mission of "Providing Soft and Affordable Slippers For Hard Working People."
